Senior Consultant, Waste and Rcycling Operations Team (WARO)
ResourceFutures provides specialist resource management solutions for a wide range of clients; from local authorities to government agencies, from private sector companies to community organisations. We are currently looking to strengthen the Waste and Recycling Operations (WARO) team to enable us to continue deliver and develop high quality projects. The team is responsible for the delivery of research projects focused on primary data gathering exercises involving monitoring and evaluation of waste initiatives. This ranges from waste composition/yield/capture studies and participation rate monitoring to door-to-door surveys and promotional/educational canvassing work.
We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual with experience in waste monitoring research projects to join our Waste and Recycling Operations Team. This role requires a number of key attributes: waste industry knowledge, research capability, proven business development skills, effective client relations, and project and line management experience.

Waste Composition Operatives (various temporary work)
£6.92 per hour (guaranteed 7 hours per working day)
The Waste and Recycling Operations team are looking for experienced drivers to join our pool of temporary workers, to carry out waste composition work.
You will collect household kerbside waste and recycling, transport it to a local depot, hand sort it into different categories and record the results. You will be part of a small friendly team which will travel from Bristol to different parts of the UK, generally for five consecutive days work.
The work helps improve local authority knowledge and understanding of the household waste stream and provides good experience and practical waste operations knowledge for anyone looking for a career in the environment or waste industry.
Accommodation, subsistence expenses and protective clothing are provided. The work would suit people that want flexibility in their work commitments and are happy to work away from home for short periods.
For company vehicle insurance purposes applicants must be at least 25 years old, have a full clean UK driving licence and be experienced drivers (preferably of large transit sized vehicles). You must be reliable, motivated, practical, methodical and used to getting your hands dirty.

Short Term Contracts
We are often looking for staff for short term contracts in the following roles in different areas of the country:
Recycling canvassers:
You will talk to people on their doorstep promoting recycling or othe waste issues, for example explaining about a new recycling service and answering questions about it.
Doorstep surveyors:
You will carry out monitoring of individual household recycling using a doorstep questionnaire to find out how people use the recycling system and barriers to recycling.
Participation/contamination monitors:
You will monitor the doorstep set out rates for various dry recycling and composting kerbside collection systems.
