Professional training / education

 

We offer training on a wide range topics for an equally wide range of client groups. Subjects covered to date range from how to run a community engagement project, to tailored courses for waste operatives, front–of-house staff and Councillors.

 

Many of our courses are developed on a bespoke basis enabling us to tailor course content to reflect the services delivered by the client company. This ensures that the training offered is relevant to participants and can deliver better productivity benefits to the client.

 

We are a registered training organisation for the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and offer Waste Awareness Certificate training, which provides an introduction to waste management for employees from all types of organisations. The one-day course covers definitions of waste, treatment options, the waste hierarchy, the environmental impact of waste, sustainable practices, legislation and health and safety.

 

Our courses are developed by our consultancy staff ensuing that content draws on most recent best practice. Courses include case studies and real examples that emphases the relevance of the training to participants enhancing the learning process. Our courses are delivered by experienced trainers employing a range of training techniques to match the learning styles of different participant groups.
